The presentation of the video-installation, «Temple», will be shown every night during the festival. By way of light projections guest will be able to see the primary design of the destroyed synagogue.

A group of young Ukrainian poets will present their poetry and video-poetry during the festival.

The Festival will take place in different areas throughout this 600 year old city; on open grounds, the terraces of the cities architectural wonders and in the clubs and suburban shopping complexes.

Translators will be working through out the Festival.

The poetry of the participants will be published in a special volume of collected works.

Please note that the timing of this Festival is no coincidence. This is the 90th anniversary of Paul Celan’s birth; a genius of German literature, who was born in our city and who is a symbol for the literary life that once thrived, and will continue to thrive in Chernivtsy.
